Q.What is the cost per head?

A. The cost per head depends on how you place your order. You can select the individual pieces you require in which case the cost per head will depend on how much and what you order. Alternatively, you can give us the total number of guests at your event and the number of settings per table (if applicable) and let us create your order. This is the most cost efficient way of creating your tea party and it ensures that nothing is forgotten. Typical costs per head are £3.60 for up to 20 guests, £3.40 for 21-50 guests and £3.20 for 51+ guests.  See Prices & Packages.

Q. How long can I hire the items for?

A. The length of the hire period is 3 days. However, additional days can be added and these may incur an additional cost. Please feel free to discuss this when you place your order.

Q. Can I put the china and cutlery in the dishwasher?

A. No. Due to the vintage nature of the china and cutlery, none of our pieces can be washed in the dishwasher.

Q. Who washes up all the china etc after our event?

A. As part of our service, we prefer to lift the burden of washing up from you. This minimises the risk of breakages and ensures that our collection remains in perfect condition for future clients. This service is FREE. All we ask is that you wipe off excess food and rinse out the teacups and teapots to prevent staining.

Should you need to rinse or wash up any items during your hire period, please note that our items must NOT go in a dishwasher. All cleaning must be done by hand in luke warm (not hot) water.

Q. Do I need to wash the napkins before returning them?

A. No. As part of our service we wash all the napkins and press them ready for our next clients.

Q. Will all the china in my order match?

A. Due to the vintage nature of our collection, we suggest a beautiful and eclectic selection of fine china to create your perfect tea party. Naturally every guest will have their own matching trio (teacup, saucer and tea plate), adding to the charm of your table setting.

Depending on the size of your event and item availability, we may be able to create matching settings round each table.

Q. What happens if an item gets broken?

A. We are sure that you will look after our china, cutlery and glassware, but we accept that accidents occasionally happen. In the event of any loss or damage, each piece will be charged at the replacement value listed with your order form. Please see our Terms & Conditions for details of the Loss & Damages Deposit required.
